Before you start

Select the correct company and verify permissions. Learn in a test workspace; posting or restoring can change actual data.

Workflow

  1. 1Choose the report and set company, period, branch and currency where available.
  2. 2Read the report basis, such as document or posting date, before comparing reports.
  3. 3Open amount details or source where available to explain totals.
  4. 4Export or print after review and check the period and filters shown on the copy.
Captured in local preview. Names and balances are samples; controls can differ with permissions and activated products.

Watch this distinction

Do not compare a balance at a date with period activity without accounting for the difference. An empty report may reflect filters or no transactions.

Verify the result

Reopen the record and check saved values and state. For financial operations, compare the document with the relevant movement and report before continuing.
