Operating tools and sales rules

Operating rules govern new documents, including discounts, below-cost sales and negative stock. Hiding a module does not replace user permissions.

Before you start

Select the correct company and verify permissions. Learn in a test workspace; posting or restoring can change actual data.

Workflow

  1. 1Select SINAD Business and review enabled modules and sales rules.
  2. 2Set discount limit, customer requirement and below-cost sales according to company policy.
  3. 3Review negative stock, automatic tax, rounding and default payment method, then save.
  4. 4Test the rule on a new document; general defaults live in company tools and delivery in Send Center.
Captured in local preview. Names and balances are samples; controls can differ with permissions and activated products.

Watch this distinction

Test rejection as well as allowance. Allowing negative stock can conceal a shortage that requires follow-up.

Verify the result

Reopen the record and check saved values and state. For financial operations, compare the document with the relevant movement and report before continuing.
